"What do you think of that?"

This is what Sen. Larry Craig said to the policeman who'd just busted him for lewd conduct in a men's room.  I can only imagine what went through the cop's mind at that moment.  "Man, I got a big fish this time," or "who the heck is this a@@hole that he thinks that'll get him off?"  Maybe he wondered what a United States Senator was doing cruising for sex in an airport bathroom?

Larry Craig held a press conference today in which he said his mistake was in pleading guilty.  Not, mind you, his conduct in the men's room at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport or the times he's been busted doing the same thing in DC's Metro stations.  No, his mistake was in admitting his mistake and taking a plea bargain.  If he isn't gay how the heck did he know the code for tapping his foot?  My bet he's been cruising a few chat rooms too.

This man is a pitiful, self loathing soul.  I truly hope he gets some therapy so he can deal with a major case of denial.  His seat is up next year and he's already toast.  Idaho is a very red state however so don't expect anything better than this man.

As far as his question,  "What do you think of that?" I can think of several responses I'd make but I try and keep this blog family friendly so it doesn't get blocked in libraries.

He has a wide stance and was picking up a piece of paper from the floor? ROTFL!

This man is a walking tragedy, and yet it's so absurd you can't help but laugh.

You know it's funny but I can truly say I've never considered a "stance" when I'm sitting on the throne. Has anyone else?

You're going to be very cognizant of it now, aren't you??? LOL Maybe the momentum will build and "Widest Stance" will become a new category in the Guinness Book. ;-)

I suppose I should be thinking about that now while in the "library" instead of focusing on my reading material.

Craig's first line of his press conference: "Thank you all very much for coming out today,"

Everyone came out except for the Senator.

Coming out of the closet.
Coming out of the water closet.
Same difference. ;-)

LOL...with a wide stance...
