Rovner To Run For 6th CD
Bob Rovner, a lawyer from Lower Merion, is running for Congress in the Sixth Congressional District for the seat currently held by Jim Gerlach. Rovner was the youngest state senator in Pennsylvania history when he was elected in 1970. Prior to that he was a student leader at Temple, where he currently sits on the Board of Trustees, and then served as an Assistant District Attorney. He is now the founder and Chairman of Rovner, Allen, Rovner, Zimmerman & Nash.
John:
What's the deal with Rovner? Is he a good Dem? Is he worth sending money too? Or will he be corrupted by Rahm and Chris VanHollen?

I don't know much about any of these candidates. The Phillips guy who is running was also here but I didn't get to talk with him. I asked Mike Marsico to send some info on him. I'll look into all these candidates and report back.

Thanks. As I stated before, Gerlach has been voting lately like he is scared. I wish we could make him really scared.

Gerlach doesn't have the cash he'd like to be sitting on. He's kept his paid campaign staff on since the last election along with a campaign office in Ludwig's Corner. That's been bleeding him dry financially.
