Will Tom Herman and others be arrested for their conduct against me? I think it's a good bet I'll be discussing this with both Mark Baldwin and John Adams. From the criminal statutes:
18 Pa. C.S. 5301. Official oppression.
A person acting or purporting to act in an official capacity or taking advantage of such actual or purported capacity commits a misdemeanor of the second degree if, knowing that his conduct is illegal, he:
1. subjects another to arrest, detention, search, seizure, mistreatment, dispossession, assessment, lien or other infringement of personal or property rights; or
2. denies or impedes another in the exercise or enjoyment of any right, privilege, power or immunity.18 Pa. C.S. § 4702. Threats and other improper influence in official and political matters.
(a) Offenses defined.--A person commits an offense if he:
1. threatens unlawful harm to any person with intent to influence his decision, opinion, recommendation, vote or other exercise of discretion as a public servant, party official or voter;
2. threatens unlawful harm to any public servant with intent to influence his decision, opinion, recommendation, vote or other exercise of discretion in a judicial or administrative proceeding; or
3. threatens unlawful harm to any public servant or party official with intent to influence him to violate his known legal duty.18 P.C.S. 911, corrupt organizations.
Then there's the statute against harassment also. It appears to me that anyone who sits on this "judiciary committee" can also be charged with these offenses. Will Tom Herman be arrested for his illegal conduct? Nothing in either local or state by laws gives him the power he has assumed. That makes his actions criminal and actionable under civil law.
As an interesting aside, while he was issuing his edict against me I was covering an event held by his own union. At this rate I may start becoming as anti-union as my State Representative. Why should I keep supporting SEIU when one of their own does this against me?
