« Stine at Brandywine Taxpayers Meeting | Main | "Ugly Betty" Stumping For Hillary in Reading Saturday »

March 18, 2008

This was a decent speech, and Obama hit quite a few points that need to be addressed.

But I have a bigger problem with the whole subject matter, and it is this - if Rev. Wright is really reaching something deep within the black experience in this country, saying something that resonates in their hearts, then I fear all hope of racial healing is a lost cause.

What Rev. Wright has been spewing is so fundamentally repugnant to me that I can't believe any scentient being would believe it to any extent.

If he is central to the black experience, I fear we're doomed to perpetual racial strife.

I cannot associate at all with it - to the point that I must dismiss anyone who finds any value in it.
