This is how I cast my ballot this morning:
U.S. Senate: Charles Francis Pennacchio (write in)
U.S. Congress: King John (write in protest vote against Holden)
Governor: Ed Rendell
Lt. Governor: CBK
State House: David Kessler (130th)
Ballot Question: YES
Neither Senate candidate reflects my values or is correct on the issues I'm most concerned about. Of course that's why I worked for Chuck Pennacchio. Since the primary Mr. Casey hasn't done one thing to reconcile with the progressives or with those of us who supported progressive candidates. He's neither asked for nor sought our support. Hence he doesn't receive it.
I'll be working my local poll in the morning provided I get some materials to distribute. Then I'll be making rounds of various campaign offices and precincts to guage turnout, sentiment, and problems. I'll blog what I find as I go.
After the polls close I'll stop at a few victory parties then park myself in front of the TV and blog the results. I expect a long night, especially with the 6th District race here.
