Ghost of Tom Joad

Not going to mention your new look? Did all of the old comments disappear? If so, Tyler will be mad. ;-)

John Morgan

How does everyone like the new look? I got several positive comments so far today.

Typepad made 15 new templates available and I really liked this one, it's similar to the navy blue I had on the original Blogspot Pennsylvania Progressive.

The comments should still be here, let me know if they aren't.

John:
I didn't look far enough down the page. The comments are still there so everything is okay.

John Morgan

Good Ghost, I was worried. Here's a weird thing, the blog still appears to me in the old form. After two hours work revamping it I thought nothing had taken.

Melissa

I'm a creature of habit, so I got kind of comfy with the old design, although this one looks more stylish. The only thing I don't like is that the comment signatures/time stamps are so light that they are difficult to see on a white background. Is that automatic, or can you change the font colors for those?

John Morgan

The problem with these templates is you cannot customize them easily. It takes someone with html knowledge (I have a only a smidgen). I'm still wondering why the new style isn't showing up on either of my computers. I emptied my caches and rebooted but even that didn't work.

Melissa

Hmmm...that is really strange. Are you going in through your account? Have you tried signing out and visiting the site w/o signing back in?

John Morgan

Yes, I tried that on the laptop. I may have to visit the blog from a public computer somewhere. Off to the library?
